We started this marketplace because booking a great experience shouldn't be a chore. Whether you're after a guided walking tour of a historic city, a hands-on cooking class with a chef, a sunset kayak trip, or a full day exploring the coast, finding it should take minutes — not hours of cross-referencing review sites and operator websites.
Our story
The idea grew out of a frustration our founders kept running into as travellers and locals alike: the best experiences are almost always run by small, independent operators, but those operators rarely have the marketing reach or the technical setup to compete with the chain attractions you see on every billboard. Customers miss out on the good stuff. Operators miss out on customers who would have loved their tour. We wanted to fix that.
Today we work with hundreds of independent operators across the country, helping them get discovered, accept bookings online, and run their experience smoothly. For customers, we're a single trusted place to browse, compare and book — with no hidden fees, no surprise charges and clear refund policies on every listing.
How we vet operators
Every operator goes through a structured onboarding before their experiences appear on the marketplace:
- Identity and business verification. We confirm operators are who they say they are: registered business name (or sole-trader equivalent), VAT/tax registration where applicable, and a verified bank account for payouts via Stripe Connect.
- Insurance. Operators running activities with safety considerations (water sports, hiking, food preparation, anything with under-18s) provide proof of public liability insurance covering at least £2 million.
- Licensing. Where local law requires a tour-guide licence, food-handling certificate, alcohol licence or transport operator licence, we collect and verify it.
- Standards review. Every new listing is reviewed by our content team before it goes live. Photos must be the operator's own, descriptions must be accurate, and pricing must be transparent (no surprise add-ons at checkout).
- Ongoing monitoring. Customer reviews, complaint volume and refund rates are tracked. Operators that fall below our standards lose visibility, are paused, or are removed from the marketplace.

- Transparency. The price you see is the price you pay. We disclose our small platform fee at checkout and never tack on surprise charges. Cancellation rules and what's included are visible before you book.
- Flexibility. Most experiences offer free cancellation and easy modification. If something genuinely goes wrong, our team is here to help — including refunds outside the standard window where it's the right thing to do.
- Community. We work with independent operators, often family-run, and we keep our take of each booking small so more of your money stays with the people delivering the experience.
- Sustainability. We give visibility to operators with verifiable sustainability credentials — local-only sourcing, low-carbon transport, conservation partnerships — and tag their listings so you can find them at a glance.

We're a small, distributed team of engineers, designers and customer-experience specialists. We're based across the UK and Ireland, with full-time customer support during weekday business hours and on-call cover 7 days a week for booking-day issues.
